Low temperature is easy to cause the ink to thicken? I'm not afraid of learning these tricks

The temperature in winter is relatively low, and the phenomenon of thickening of the ink often occurs because the temperature is too low. The Spring Festival holiday is about to start, so the soft pack factory should ensure the stability of the warehouse temperature when storing ink. If the ink thickens, the following methods can also be used to solve it.

Low temperature in winter is an external factor for thickening of ink. Under the influence of temperature, it is a physical phenomenon that the ink (original ink) undergoes a thick change, but what changes is the form, not the essence (the basic performance of the ink).

The ink is too thick and the viscosity is large, but it is best not to adjust the viscosity with thinner or ink. When adjusting the ink properties, the total amount of various additives that can be contained in the original ink produced by the ink manufacturer is limited. If it exceeds the limit, even if it can be used, it will weaken the basic performance of the ink and affect the printing quality.

The ink thickened due to temperature can be solved by the following methods

1. Place the original ink on the radiator or next to the heater to make it slowly warm up and gradually return to its original state.

2. You can use boiling water for external heating during emergency use. The specific method is to pour the boiling water into the basin, and then put the original barrel (box) ink in the water, but to prevent water vapor from immersing, take it out when the water temperature drops to about 27 ℃ , Open the lid and stir to use. It is advisable to keep the temperature in the printing workshop at around 27 ° C.

Solutions to thickening of ink at normal temperature

At normal temperature, the ink also has a thick phenomenon, because the consistency of the ink reflects the rheological characteristics of the ink to a certain extent. If it is not caused by external factors, it can be summarized as the following two reasons:

1. It is caused by the strong thixotropy in the original structure of the original ink, but it can still be used after being restored to its original state after stirring;

2. It is out-of-date ink or deteriorated ink due to improper storage and cannot be used.

Chalkboard

A blackboard (also known as a chalkboard) is a reusable writing surface on which text or drawings are made with sticks of calcium sulphate or calcium carbonate, known, when used for this purpose, as chalk. Blackboards were originally made of smooth, thin sheets of black or dark grey slate stone.

A blackboard can simply be a board painted with a dark matte paint (usually black, occasionally dark green).Matte black plastic sign material (known as closed-cell PVC foamboard) is also used to create custom chalkboard art.Blackboards on an A-frame are used by restaurants and bars to advertise daily specials.

A more modern variation consists of a coiled sheet of plastic drawn across two parallel rollers, which can be scrolled to create additional writing space while saving what has been written. The highest grade blackboards are made of a rougher version porcelain enamelled steel (black, green, blue or sometimes other colours). Porcelain is very hard wearing, and blackboards made of porcelain usually last 10–20 years in intensive use.

Lecture theatres may contain a number of blackboards in a grid arrangement.The lecturer then moves boards into reach for writing and then moves them out of reach, allowing a large amount of material to be shown simultaneously.

The chalk marks can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth, a sponge or a special blackboard eraser usually consisting of a block of wood covered by a felt pad. However, chalk marks made on some types of wet blackboard can be difficult to remove. Blackboard manufacturers often advise that a new or newly resurfaced blackboard be completely covered using the side of a stick of chalk and then that chalk brushed off as normal to prepare it for use.
