Prepare before starting up
(1) The electrode stem is screwed into the electrode stem socket, and the electrode is clamped to the appropriate position.
(2) The composite electrode is clamped on the electrode holder to pull down the electrode sleeve at the front end of the electrode.
(3) Wash the electrode with distilled water, wash it and blot it with filter paper.
Boot
(1) Plug the power cord into the power outlet
(2) Press the power switch, after the power is turned on, warm up for 30 minutes, and then perform calibration.
Folding edit this paragraph calibration
Before the instrument is used, it must be calibrated. Generally speaking, when the instrument is used continuously, it should be calibrated once a day.
(1) Disconnect the short-circuit socket at the measuring electrode socket;
(2) inserting a composite electrode at the measuring electrode socket;
(3) Adjust the selector switch knob to the PH position;
(4) Adjust the temperature compensation knob to align the white line of the knob with the solution temperature value;
(5) Turn the slope adjustment knob clockwise to the end (ie, adjust to 100% position);
(6) inserting the cleaned electrode into a buffer solution of pH=6.8 6;
(7) Adjusting the positioning adjustment knob so that the reading of the instrument is consistent with the pH value of the buffer solution when it is temperature-decreasing (if the temperature of the mixed phosphoric acid is 10 ° C, PH = 6.92);
(8) The electrode cleaned with distilled water is inserted into the standard solution of pH=4.0 0 (or PH=9.18), and the slope knob is adjusted so that the reading of the instrument is consistent with the pH at the current temperature in the buffer solution.
(9) Repeat (6)--(8) until you do not need to adjust the positioning or slope adjustment knobs.
(10) The instrument is calibrated.
Fold edit this paragraph to measure PH value
The calibrated instrument can be used to determine the measured solution. The measured solution is the same temperature as the calibration solution, and the measurement steps are also different.
(1) When the temperature of the solution to be tested is the same as the temperature of the positioning solution, the measurement steps are as follows:
1 Wash the electrode head with distilled water and wash it once with the solution to be tested;
2 Dip the electrode into the solution to be tested, stir the solution with a glass rod to make the solution uniform, and read the pH value of the solution on the display screen.
(2) When the temperature of the measured solution and the positioning solution are not the same, the measurement steps are as follows:
1 electrode head, washed once with the solution to be tested;
2 use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the measured solution
3 Adjust the "Temperature" adjustment knob so that the white line is aligned with the temperature of the test solution.
4 Insert the electrode into the solution to be tested, stir the solution with a glass rod, and make the solution uniform to read the pH value of the solution.
