Analysis: Plastic Crusher Operation Procedure

First, the working principle and structure

Plastic crusher refers to a plastic recycling device used to crush plastic waste, defective products, scraps, etc., sometimes referred to as a plastic chopper or a plastic crusher.

The plastic crusher passed consists mainly of a horizontal rotor with a series of blade knives and a cylindrical shell with one or two fixed knives. The plastic crusher is provided with a feed hopper along the surgical axis. The rotational speed of the rotor is large, and the incoming material is cut into pieces at the small gap between the stationary blade and the blade (also called the movable blade). The chips are discharged from the bottom of the housing and can be screened through a filter screen if necessary.

The rotary cutter shaft of the crusher is generally supported by rolling bearings, and its transmission is driven directly by the motor through an elastic coupling. Intersection gap adjustment is accomplished by a fixed knife adjustment bolt. Blades are generally made of carbon tool steel and fire-treated.

Second, the operating procedures

(a) Preparation before driving

(1) Fully inspect the correct connection of the gas line of the plastic crusher. The machine must be grounded to ensure safety.

(2) After a few hours of no-load, normal use and feeding shall be carried out. If abnormality of the plastic crusher is found, it shall be immediately stopped and checked.

(3) After one week of use, check whether the bolts of all fastening blades in the working chamber of the plastic crusher are loose and whether the blade gap is correct, and adjust and tighten.

(4) Check the plastic crusher working room for debris and debris before driving each time.

(5) Organize the plastic waste to be broken to ensure that the material is free of chores and the specifications of the material are generally uniform.

(II) Operation and precautions

(1) Start the plastic crusher motor and feed the material after the plastic crusher operates normally.

(2) Feeding should be uniform, and the plastic crusher can avoid blocking due to the input of large materials. Once blocking occurs, it should be stopped immediately. When driving, pay attention to the motor load current display table to ensure that the plastic crusher motor is not overloaded.

(3) If abnormal noise of the plastic crusher is found, stop and check immediately.

(4) The plastic crusher should not be operated continuously for 24 hours. When the temperature of the machine rises too high, cooling can be properly stopped.

(5) When the plastic crusher stops, it should clean the internal and external wastes of the plastic crusher.

(6) The plastic crusher must never be opened, cleaned or repaired while the plastic crusher motor is running.

(7) The plastic crusher should stop feeding before stopping, but the motor should continue to run for a period of time until it is ensured that the plastic crusher is completely empty and then stopped.

Third, maintenance and overhaul

(a) Repair and overhaul of plastic crusher

(1) The plastic crusher spindle, bearings, reducer, etc. should be regularly replaced with grease or lubricating oil in accordance with the relevant regulations.

(2) Every shift should be filled with lubrication holes in the plastic crusher.

(3) The shields of the transmission parts of the plastic crusher should be kept permanently and completely intact. The plastic crusher can not drive without a complete protective cover.

(4) The plastic crusher should not be operated for 24 hours continuously. When the temperature rises too high, it can be stopped properly.

(5) Regularly inspect the blade edge and gap at the intersection of the plastic crusher working chamber, and always check the blade set screws to prevent the blade from loosening.

(6) Every shift should clean up the residual materials in the work room.

(b) Overhaul of plastic crusher

The main wear parts of the plastic crusher are: moving knife blades, fixed knife blades, rotating shaft journals and bearings, insert bolts and screens.

The minor repair period for a plastic crusher depends on the service life and the degree of use of the blade. Replace the blade, grind the worn blade, and adjust the clearance of the intersection is a minor repair work. The time interval is generally two weeks.

The repair work is carried out every six months to a year, including the replacement of blades, replacement of bearings, inspection of rotating shafts, screens, and maintenance of the transmission system.

The overhaul work is carried out once every one to two years, replacing the rotor with the blades, overhauling the housing of the working room, and overhauling the transmission system.
