The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) recently conducted a national supervision and spot check on the quality of beer bottles. A total of 55 products from 55 companies in 21 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities including Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shanghai, and Guangxi were investigated, and 44 products were qualified. The sampling pass rate of products was 80%. The quality problems found in the spot checks were mainly due to the poor impact resistance of some products. Among the 11 unqualified products, there were 10 kinds of impact resistance indicators that did not meet the requirements for the qualified products; the internal pressure indicators of the 3 products were qualified for the qualified products. According to regulations, the impact resistance of two kinds of products also failed to meet the requirements for qualified products.
