Tianjin Municipal Forging and Pressing Machine Plant’s municipal key scientific and technological research key project—THP71-4000 glass steel products hydraulic press has passed the acceptance and appraisal organized by Tianjin Science and Technology Commission.
This press has a nominal force of 40 thousand kN (4000 tons) and is the largest hydraulic press for glass steel products in China.
The machine adopts a four-cylinder slider structure with a cylinder, equipped with a fast-moving worktable driven by a cylinder, an ejector device placed outside the four columns and a moving workbench, to realize the changeover of the mold and the removal of the product. The electrical system adopts PLC programmable logic controller, which is sensitive and reliable in action and equipped with photoelectric protection device.
The new scientific and technological achievements show that the machine is an innovative product of hydraulic presses, filling the domestic gap, ranking the world advanced level, providing advanced equipment for the development of large-scale molded products in the FRP industry, and has broad market prospects.
