Read and understand printed construction orders

The printing construction slip conveys all the information in the printing production process, including the customer's processing requirements for the product, the production plan for the production and operation and dispatch department, and the quality management department's technological arrangement for ensuring the product quality, which is the basis for the printing operation. . The operator must read carefully after receiving the construction order and make correct and adequate preparation for the formal printing. The operator should do the following when reading the printed construction slip.

1. Understand the product's name, size, quality requirements, and production cycle.

Understand the paper's name, specifications, quantity, quantity, positive number (the number of finished products required by the customer, not the actual number of prints), the amount of printing and discharging (the number of papers that are allowed to wear during printing), and other quantities Loss at post-press processing).

3. Understand the ink's product name, model number, required quantity, and printability.

4. Know the process method, color sequence arrangement, and data standards for the printed product.

Paper preparation

The packaging industry uses more cardboard. Plate preparation

Preparation of ink and fountain solution

Different inks are selected according to different substrates at the time of printing. Coated paper uses quick-drying bright light ink, offset paper uses resin-based offset ink, matt copper uses matte copper special ink, gold card paper and other non-absorbable or poorly absorbable substrates should use ink that does not rely on osmotic drying. , such as UV ink or POP ink. The product's post-press processing is also the basis for selecting the ink. For example, the product needs to be glazing, and the film is made of heat-resistant and alcohol-resistant ink.

Special packaging and decoration supplies can also use fluorescent and pearlescent inks according to design requirements. The amount of commonly used ink auxiliary materials depends on the actual production conditions. The selection of fountain solution should be based on the process, materials and product requirements, setting and preparation of the dampening solution's PH value, raw liquid and content, temperature, conductivity and other parameters.
