Production and sales growth slowed down
Statistics show that from January to March, the total industrial output value of the industry was 203.802 billion yuan, an increase of 4.54% year-on-year; the sales value of 1.96226 trillion yuan was completed, an increase of 3.59% year-on-year. From the perspective of the growth rate of total output value and sales output value, there was a large drop from the same period of last year, which dropped by 24.27 percentage points and 26.82 percentage points respectively. However, the year-on-year growth slowed slightly from January to March, and the growth rate of production and sales was 1.64 and 1.48 percentage points higher than that of the previous month, respectively. The momentum of the excessively rapid decline has been reversed.
From January to March, the production and sales rate of machinery products in the industry was 96.59%, a decrease of 0.89 percentage points from the previous year (97.48%); at the same time, it was also lower than the national industrial product sales rate (97.07%) of 0.48 percentage points.
New product output value grows at low speed
In the first three months, the entire industry completed a total output value of 357.602 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.05%, a year-on-year growth rate of 20.75 percentage points, and a slight increase in the growth rate of the chain, which was a relatively low level in recent years. The growth rate of the output value of new products was 3.49 percentage points lower than the industrial output value of the same period, a slight decrease from 8.72 percentage points in the previous month (January to February). Among the 13 major industries, there were 6 industries that decreased year-on-year, among which the largest decreases were: food packaging industry (-34.71%), cultural office industry (-31.69%), and other civil machinery industries (-18.54%). The instrumentation industry (-8.89%) and the automotive industry (-7.25%) fell by more than 7% year-on-year.
Export delivery value continues to decline
From January to March, the export value of the entire industry was 249.917 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.43%, a year-on-year growth rate of 47.70 percentage points, and the speed of decline was 2.17 percentage points faster than that in February. The export delivery value accounted for 11.46% of the sales value, a decrease of 3.65 percentage points from last year. The statistical growth rate of export delivery values ​​of the 13 major industries showed declines in different degrees, among which the industries with large declines were the automobile industry, construction machinery industry and other civilian machinery industries.
