On August 3, 2016, the National Youth Outdoor Sports Camp Summer Camp and China Jinchang International Youth Training Camp were held in Jinchang City. In 2016, the National Youth Outdoor Sports Camp Summer Camp and the China Jinchang International Youth Training Camp have taken the savage body and civilized spirit as the core spirit, challenging themselves, tempering the will, forging quality, and enhancing abilities as the theme of the event. Activities include competition, experience, inspirational, creative display four major sections. The competition includes beach volleyball, desert soccer, desert tug of war, and desert 10 km trekking competitions. Experienced projects include tent construction, desert camping, desert surfing, camel riding, archery, sand climbing, sand-shaping, photography, painting, and writing.
A total of 837 coaches and players from 68 teams participated in the event. They came from 13 countries and 32 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) of our country. Six provinces and cities in our province sent out a representative team.
