The anti-seepage and anti-leakage measures of the phosphogypsum slag yard of Jinglu Chemical Industry are not perfect. Leachate and phosphogypsum directly enter the downstream farmland; the long-term management of Kehai Chemical Wastewater Field is not in place, and the total phosphorus concentration in groundwater monitoring in 2017 and 2018 is 17.6 mg respectively. /L, 16.8mg/L, which is more than 400 times of the background value of the control well; the anti-seepage and anti-leakage measures of the Chenao Science and Technology Phosphogypsum slag yard are not perfect. After the on-site sampling test of the inspector group, the pH value of the adjacent pond water body is 3.66. It is strongly acidic and the total phosphorus concentration is as high as 172 mg/L.
According to various environmental monitoring data, the total phosphorus in the groundwater and surface pits around the phosphogypsum slag yard in Jingmen City generally exceeded the standard, and fluoride and ammonia nitrogen were also exceeded in different degrees, and these slag fields were distributed in the Jingmen section of the Hanjiang River and its main tributaries. The banks along the Weihe River have adversely affected the water quality of the Han River. In recent years, phosphorus has become the main pollution factor of the main stream of the Han River, and the total phosphorus concentration is still increasing year by year.
The inspector team will further verify the situation and request relevant parties in Hubei Province to investigate and rectify the situation in accordance with the law.
