GoPro and Red Bull have reached a cooperation, it seems to be quite a ride


GoPro announced an exclusive partnership with Red Bull.


GoPro became Red Bull’s exclusive sports camera provider, while Red Bull will receive a partial stake in GoPro. Nick Woodman, CEO of GoPro, told financial media CNBC that Red Bull's share of this portion accounted for less than 1%. For collaboratively produced media content, they will share the copyright and release it on the media platforms of the two or sell together.


Red Bull has always been playing in content production. It has its own Red Bull TV, which includes live broadcasts of Red Bull sponsored games and documentaries related to outdoor and extreme sports. It also has its own online lifestyle magazines. In 2015, its brand value ranks third among beverage brands, second only to Coca-Cola and Pepsi. Red Bull’s excellent content marketing has contributed to this.
