During the production process of corrugated boxes, it is very important to ensure the smoothness of the paper feeding and paper feeding channels, especially the longitudinal feeding path of the thin cardboard box and the remanufactured cardboard box. If the paper path of the carton board can be well controlled, then the entire printing process and the die cutting stage will be very convenient to operate, and the carton board can also be smoothly output from the die cutting mechanism.

With the continuous improvement of die-cutting precision, in order to improve the die-cutting efficiency in the direction of rotation, different die-cutting auxiliary materials should be selected, so that better economic benefits can be obtained, and at the same time, it shows its greatest advantages in the production process.

1. Traditional method alternate drilling

The production of dieboards (either flat dieboards or drum dieboards) generally uses the traditional method of alternate drilling.

2. Laser beam cutting method

Most of the major die-stencil makers in Europe use laser beam cutting on flat dieboards. The method of molding a cutting board using a laser beam requires a large investment, but a die cutting board made by laser can obtain excellent quality.

The fundamental difference between the traditional method and the laser method is that the degree of flexibility in the cutting activities is different, such as in the diagonal cutting or in the circular cutting, using the traditional method of making cutting board, even for the very experience For die-cutting platemaking operators, this process is also very difficult.

Die cutter installation precautions

There are various types of die cutters, and the operator should select a suitable die cutter according to different die cutting requirements and different types of corrugated cardboard boxes. When selecting a die cutter, two types of die cutters can usually be considered:

a) For E, B, C, and A corrugations, it is best to use a 12-tooth die cutter to facilitate saw tooth cleaning.
It is recommended that the height of this die cutter is 25.4mm (special attention should be paid to the ratio between the indentation and the height of the die cutter).

b) For EB and BC corrugations, it is preferable to use 8-die die cutters because the die cutters must ensure a strong penetration force to penetrate the corrugated cardboard box more to reach the liner of the die-cutting press roll.

It is recommended that the height of this die cutter be 26.1mm.

Most of the cutting board operators will install the cutting knife in their own way. We need to remind that if the operator has not learned the installation knowledge of the cutting knife, he should pay special attention to and understand the cutting knife.
