Corrugated board production process

The corrugated box manufacturing process includes corrugated cardboard made into corrugated boxes. Process flow:

Corrugated box production process

1, cut off and pressure line

The first procedure for making corrugated boxes is cutting and pressing lines. For semi-mechanized stand-alone operation, the cutting and pressure lines are separated and cut off by the crimper. However, for continuous mechanized production, this process can be carried out on a corrugated cardboard production line.

2, slotting

Slotting is generally performed immediately after the vertical pressure line, and the same machine is used, that is, the line cutting machine (commonly known as punching machine). The function of this type of machine is vertical threading, transverse cutting (cutting at right angles to the paperboard input direction), grooving (punching), and then right angle cutting of carton joints.

In the production, a printing punching machine or a folding and bonding machine is also used. These machines are all provided with a slotting mechanism. The principle of slotting is the same as that of cutting a crimper.

3, printing

Corrugated board printing usually uses letterpress printing, gravure printing, lithography and screen printing. The most widely used is letterpress printing. However, for the E-type corrugated paperboard, because it is used for internal packaging, it requires the printing of beautiful patterns, the plastic letterpress printing can not be satisfied, must use a predetermined cut off the size of the cardboard
